Major water infrastructure on the Deharji River (tributary of the Vaitarna) near Suksale village. The dam supplies 255 MLD of drinking water to Vasai-Virar, CIDCO's Palghar region and local rural belts. Six Kolhapur-type bandharas downstream support village water supply and irrigation. Earthen dam works were converted to a concrete gated spillway as per detailed design.
