Construction of dual earthen dams — Mahu Dam across the Kudali River (a Krishna tributary) and Hatgeghar Dam across Hatgeghar Nalla — a medium project in Satara District for power generation, flood control and water supply for drinking, irrigation and industry. Storage is distributed through a pipe distribution network (PDN) that replaces open canals with underground HDPE gravity pipelines, covering thousands of hectares in Jaoli Taluka. PVR Projects Ltd. completed PDN works for Feeder Canal Km 0–3, Left Bank Canal Km 0–17 and Right Bank Canal Km 0–20.
